Neighborhood Ambassadors

Neighborhood Ambassadors serve as a vital link between off-campus students and university resources. As experienced undergraduate and graduate students, they use their own personal insights to help you navigate life beyond the Diag.

Support for your off-campus experience

Throughout the year, your neighborhood ambassadors are on the ground to help you:

  • Build community by hosting social events and neighborhood activities right where you live.
  • Gather practical insights and local tips through our dedicated office hours and monthly newsletter.
  • Stay updated on vital campus resources and neighborhood safety notices by following our social media channels.
  • Navigate the transition from university housing to independent off-campus living with direct, peer-to-peer coaching.

Beyond the Diag Drop-in

Our student staff hosts daily drop-in hours to help you find resources and answer your questions. No appointment is needed—just stop by the Dean of Students Office in Suite 3100 of the Michigan Union, Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Meet your ambassadors
