Tessa serves as a Critical Incidents and Student Support Case Manager. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students, she is responsible for providing direct support services to students experiencing complex incidents and crises impacting their campus life, and contributing to the functions of the Dean of Students Office through support of its administrative, student support, programmatic, and crisis management functions.
Tessa is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work, where she specialized in micro social work in higher education systems. Prior to coming to the University of Michigan, Tessa served as a residential life coordinator at Bryn Mawr College, where she supervised resident assistants, planned campus-wide events, and met with students regarding anything housing related. She is a proud alum of Mount Holyoke College, where she studied sociology and environmental studies. Tessa is from the Philadelphia area and loves creatures/critters, being outside, and exploring Ann Arbor.
